Principals’ & Teachers protest demanding the interim allowance
Nearly 2000 Principals and teachers in Badulla district jointly protested opposite the Uva Provincial Council premises by demanding the interim allowance which promised by the S.L.P.P. manifesto.
The protesters saying and singing slogans and displaying banners and cutouts marched through the streets in Badulla town. Badulla Police provided a special guard.

1997 හා 2006 වැටුප් විෂමතාවන් සකසන තෙක් ලබාදෙන බවට පොරොන්දුවූ අතුරු දීමනාව වහා ලබාදෙන ලෙස ඉල්ලා බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික් විදුහල්පතිවරුන් හා ගුරුන් ඌව පළාත් සභාව ඉදිරිපිට දැවැන්ත උද්ඝෝෂණයක් අති සාර්ථකව පවත්වා බැනර් හා පොස්ටර් රැගෙන උද්ඝෝෂණ පාඨ කියමින් හා ගයමින් බදුල්ල නගරය පුරා වීථි සංචාරය කළේ මෙසේයි.මෙම උද්ඝෝෂණ ව්‍යාපාරය සඳහා දෙදහසකට ආසන්න පිරිසක් සහභාගී වූහ.
බදුල්ල පොලීසිය විශේෂ ආරක්ෂක විධිවිධාන ක්‍රියාත්මක කර තිබුණි.
